About Me.
Hello, my name is Emily Yoder! Outside of the baking world, I love to hike and get outdoors. If I could, I would move to Bend or Sisters in a heartbeat because that is truly where my heart is. But until then, my heart is content in Dallas, Oregon! I love being such a short distance between all of the things I love, including the beach and the mountains.
I love Jesus and I love the way that I have been able to see him through nature and animals. Jesus has given me the word beloved to always focus on when the world seems like such a dark place and knew exactly when I created this business what I would name it and I’m so thankful that He has given me the opportunity to serve the community in this way.
My Family.
If you’ve seen me out and about at markets and events, you have most likely met my husband, Eli! He’s always behind the scenes, cleaning up in the kitchen and doing all my dishes (sorry, honey) coming to cover me for breaks and when I’m at work and set up needs to happen he’s always been there to support. I don’t know what I would do without him!
We also have a golden retriever named Abby, and she is just the most precious, sweetest, kindest girl with the biggest heart. She loves people, and honestly could care less about other dogs. 🤣 Sorry in advance if she gets startled during porch pick ups! She really just wants a hug and a few pets, I promise!
Rest In Peace, Our Beloved Oswald.
We just recently lost our beloved Oswald. He had an unexpected medical emergency and could not come out of it and we are devastated. He was our first baby and was born three weeks before our wedding back in 2015. He did not deserve to go the way that he did and we are completely broken over it.
Even though he’s not here, we truly enjoyed all of the time that we were gifted to be with him. It was an honor to get to care for him for all of his 11 years on this earth.
I kid you not, he would come running every time we opened butter to bake with, and we had to keep him out of the kitchen frequently 🤣 our boy loved carbs and goodness he landed in the right household for that let me tell you 😂
