Frequently Asked Questions
How do I place an order?
Orders can be placed through our website during our weekly ordering window. Once the order window closes on Thursdays at 4 PM for that week, we begin preparing and baking your goodies fresh for pickup for that Saturday.
When can I pick up my order?
Pickup days and times are listed at checkout. Are two current pick up options are either at the Main Street Emporium Of Dallas or porch pick up which address will be provided after checkout.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes! We offer free delivery to Salem and Dallas addresses. We also accommodate free delivery within a 25 mile radius of Dallas, Oregon!
How far in advance should I order?
Our menu items can sell out quickly, so we recommend ordering as soon as you know you want to. For larger or custom orders, advance notice is appreciated. Navigate to our contact us page to fill out a form for any custom request.
Do you accept custom orders?
We may be able to accommodate custom orders depending on our baking schedule. Reach gluten-containing and gluten-free products in the same kitchen, it’s important to clearly state that out with your request and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
Do you offer gluten-free options?
Yes! We offer select gluten-free items. Please see individual product descriptions for gluten-free offerings.
Do you use sourdough starter in all of your sourdough products?
Yes, our sourdough items are made with our house sourdough starter and thoughtfully fermented for flavor and texture.
How should I store my sourdough bread?
For the best texture, keep your loaf at room temperature in a bread bag or airtight container for a few days. For longer storage, slice and freeze.
Can I freeze my baked goods?
Absolutely! Most of our breads, cookies, and scones freeze beautifully. We recommend wrapping them well to preserve freshness.
Do you ever sell product off your porch? Like if I drove by, would you have a self-serve option?
We do not. Our zoning laws do not allow us to sell off our porch where we live. We hope for our next home to include land and be outside of the city limits so we can allow a self-serve farm stand!
Do you accommodate food allergies?
We take food allergies seriously, but because our products are made in a home kitchen where common allergens are present, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free product.
What allergens are in your products?
Common allergens may include wheat/gluten, milk, eggs, soy, and nuts. Please check the individual product description or contact us with questions before ordering.
Do you do wholesale?
At this time, we operate under cottage food laws. This prevents us from selling wholesale. We can set up a stand at a brick and mortar as long as it doesn’t already have a restaurant/food license as our products are not made in a licensed kitchen.
Do you offer catering or large orders?
We may be able to accommodate larger orders with advance notice. Availability depends on our weekly baking schedule.
Where are you located?
We are a home-based microbakery serving Dallas, Oregon. Exact pickup instructions and address details are provided after your order is confirmed.
What makes a microbakery different?
We bake in small batches with a focus on quality, freshness, and handmade flavor. Every loaf, scone, and cookie is made with care rather than produced on an industrial scale.
